Colour Me! #74 – White on White Picture Frame

Any occasion

Hi there! Welcome back to another Wednesday Colour Me! challenge post. The challenge this week is to create a white on white project.

Unlike usual, I created a picture frame for my project this week. This is actually something I’ve been working on for quite a while but have never quite finished until this challenge. This project was super easy with the help of my Silhouette Portrait, free clip art files, and some tape. You can watch my video tutorial, below, to see how I made it.

I bought this shadow box style frame at my local dollar store to see if the idea I had in mind would work. I’m happy with the result, so I will transfer it to a nicer frame that I can display. In the end, the frame can nicely accommodate a 4″ x 6″ picture.

All of the files I used to create the elements were free clip art images that I traced with the trace tool in Silhouette Studio. The Silhouette Studio part of the project was definitely the most time consuming of the whole project but assembly was so easy, now that I’ve got all the elements saved, I could reproduce the frame in a jiffy.

That’s it for today! I hope that I’ve helped inspire you to play along with us at the Colour Me! challenge this week. Make sure to drop by the other designers for even more inspiration–

Until next time,
