Intro to the Alley Way Stamps

Cards, Design Team, The Alley Way Stamps

Finally, the announcement has been made! I will be joining the Alley Way Stamps design team, as a member of the YouTube team.

That’s right, little ‘ol me is joining the amazingly talented and totally lovely TAWS ladies. I can hardly believe it myself.

My term will officially start at the beginning of July but of course I couldn’t wait until July to introduce you to the fun stamps and tell you all about the unique features of the Alley Way Stamps. With that in mind, I went ahead did a video showcasing one of the TAWS digital freebies on a card that was inspired by a card created by one of the TAWS designer’s, Tracy. You can see Tracy’s video here.

I think my video camera was also in the mood to celebrate and partied just a little too hard. I was right in the middle of filming this tutorial when (may it rest in peace) my camera died completely. So, I stopped filming, drove into town, and bought a brand new one. So far, we’re getting along great.

Ok, without any further ado, my intro to TAWS and the card I created–

The first and most important thing for you to know about TAWS clear stamps are that they super high-quality, and produced in the USA. The designs are all fun, many punny, and each and every one is absolutely adorable. If you’re just starting out, they also offer a nice selection of free digital stamps.

Another really cool feature is that instead of selling steel dies (which can be pretty expensive), they sell SVG electronic cut files. It’s just a matter of downloading the files from the TAWS website, opening them in Silhouette Studio, and then cutting to your electronic cutting machine. Neato, right?!

Well, anyways, I think I’ve gushed enough for today. Thank you so much for dropping by and thank you to the TAWS team for welcoming me with such open arms. I’ll be back with my first video for TAWS on July 4th.

Until next time,
