Make Peaches into Pumpkins

Any occasion, Cards, The Alley Way Stamps

Welcome! I hope you’re having a beautiful start to your weekend. Today I’m on the Alley Way Stamps Blog sharing a fall card that I created with summer stamps.

If you’ve been following my blog or YouTube channel, you know how much I adore the Alley Way Stamps, Tooty Fruity, stamp set. I wanted to get even more from the stamps, so I used the peach image to create some fall pumpkins.

As always, I have a how-to video to share. You can watch the video below, or on my YouTube channel.

This card was easier than pumpkin pie! If you’re like me and need to get the most from your stamps, I think a great way to do that is to incorporate them into different seasons.Oct24-ZedSquared-TootyFruityPumpkin

I coloured my pumpkins using Distress Ink. I used the same technique earlier in the summer with this exact same image but got a much different result. In can you missed, it, you can see that video on my YouTube channel.

That’s it for today. Thanks so much for dropping by.

TAWS and Prismacolor Pencils

Any occasion, Cards

Welcome! Today I’m back on the TAWS blog sharing a card and how-to video. For today’s card I used the Tooty Fruity stamp set and colour pencils to create a fun retro looking card. You can watch the video, below, or on my YouTube channel.

I created this one-layer card with a custom sentiment, and lot’s of Prismacolor colouring. Of all my colouring mediums, I find coloured pencils the easiest and fastest. I also love the bright blended look I get when I use paper stumps and an odorless mineral spirits to blend the colours. I only own a tin of 24 colours, but that is plenty for my card making needs.

There is lots more inspiration over on the TAWS blog, so stop by and see what projects the talented DT are sharing today.

Colour Me! #81 You’re Berry Special

Any occasion, Cards

Welcome! Ok, so first the good news…today is a DOUBLE FEATURE day! Two new cards, two new videos! Once in a while all the stars align and I have more than one card to post in a day. Today is one of those days!

The first card of the day is for the Colour Me! challenge. The challenge this week is to create a project using pink, coral, plum, and green.

As I’ll explain in my video, I took my inspiration directly from the challenge badge this week.

The picture comes before the video in this post because the video is very long. I usually film my tutorials and then edit out the “fluff” to just keep all the cardmaking goodness but in this video, I narrate my steps (and babble) live as I create the card. So without further ado…

I’ve been really struggling with my crafty mojo recently. I very nearly came to taking the week off and not posting a card for the challenge (gasp!). Luckily, I had a burst of inspiration and was able to create a cheerful little card using the Tooty Fruity stamp set from the Alley Way Stamps.

But wait…there’s more! The Colour Me! design team have outdone themselves this week. Make sure to visit their blogs to see how they created their cards–

Hope You’re Peachy – Colour with Distress Ink

Any occasion, Cards

Welcome! Today I’m back on the TAWS YouTube page sharing a card I created using the Tooty Fruity stamp set. I’ve been on a Distress Ink binge recently and for this card, I used Distress Ink to colour my main focal image. You can watch my video tutorial below, or on YouTube.
